Welcome Wordforge posters

The CEO shouldn't have been killed, but, point of curiosity, what's your opinion on the French Revolution?
I don't have an opinion about the French Revolution. Bloody. Cannibalistic. Failed. Ten years managed to kill everyone in power and then kill everyone who killed everyone in power and then appoint a new Emperor. But it's all a no sequitor. What is your point?

Agreed -- though I'd argue it was ultimately successful, just taking too long of a windy process (Napoleon, back to monarchy, back to another Napoleon, and so on).

My point is given the grievances that started the French Revolution, and even the Russian Revolution, there seems to be a tipping point where this happens. Are we there here? I doubt it, but it's the mindset that I'm looking at. These things shouldn't happen, but I'd imagine you get it -- people are feeling ground down, with no legal recourse being available because greed is keeping power where it is, and things begin to snap and buckle.

We both swore an oath to defend the Constitution, with the difference being you were trained to actually do so if the need arose, and another being we might not agree on what a domestic threat to the Constitution might be. I think we're at a point where people are seeing a threat to our country and are willing or taking action to defend it, whether you or I agree that is the case, and a large part of it is the unwillingness to compromise on issues that should be of zero importance or those that propagate unmitigated greed -- however one defines that. And this is a rare case where Both Sides suck.

So, yeah, these corporate assassination and political violence shouldn't be happening. But I get it.

We've definitely moved past the "fuck around" phase and into the "and find out" portion. And I could be wrong--I often am--but I suspect that if the "Occupy" riots of the 2010s or the BLM riots of 2020 happen at this point there's going to be a whole lot more Kyle Rittenhouses out there to meet force with force.

That doesn't change the fact that you have people on your board cheering on political assassinations and at least one person contemplating shooting Trump.

Yes. Regardless of political affiliations this is a really really (really) bad look and probably open to legal scrutiny. I mean, if the FBI fucked around with this very board back in the day for *ahem* some of us going after a religious pedo predator board, anything could happen.

Flinging poo at people you've known forever on a random message board nobody knows about (repeatedly, in a delusional self-affirmation loop backed up with endless Twitter links) seems like a reasonable alternative.
The endless Twitter links are so ridiculous. Often times they are posted without comment. Why it's not considered spam I have no clue.

Apparently , that skinhead Tererune has vamoosed from Wordforge & disappeared COMPLETELY into FAT AIR :coffee:

Tererune was a god awful Republican Conservative douchebag , with his CONSTANT praising & loving of Trump.

Tererune was A TOTAL TRUMP ZOMBIE

Ya gotta LUV Tererune's Wordforge avatar , a picture of Jesse Helms (n)

Personally , I think Wordforge WASN'T extreme right wing enough for Tererune , which is INSANE  , so Tererune PROBABLY went back to , or just went to TrekBBS , which is basically Stormfront 2.0
