That's just it. Most of the people on the staff now aren't ones to pick a fight or take a strong stand on anything I know of board-wise either way. It's not because they are yes-men or super loyal to Elwood, IMHO, but they just don't *like* that sort of thing.

That said, that's also their best asset. They're not ones to jump down people's throats with wild accusations which as we well know helped in no small part to escalate things and play the whole "I don't care what you think because you suck" card while in mod capasity (IE, the HD). People don't respond too well to name calling and lies abotu them. Funny the way that works. ;)

I do think the structure change is one of the best changes to WF, however. I've heard that suggestion thrown around by people for a while, and out of all the people on staff to keep, I think Elwood picked a pretty good bunch. Only time will tell how it'll all work out, though.
 
My problem is that I have just lost trust in Elwood. Not over the cheeky monkey deal, I don't give a crap about whether he is or isn't a cop in real life. But the fact that there has been so much under the table dealing has lead me to distrust him.

Just because he says the old mods no longer have access to area51 doesn't mean it's true. For all we know they still have access, but it's just a bigger secret.

When you lose trust in someone, it's very hard to gain it back. And that is what has happened to me.

I don't have access anymore. Diacanu didn't have it once he quit. I think the only ones who still have it are Tamar and Cass, unless something changed since the last time I was in there.
 
No, it's just me and Cass along with the active staff and Chat Admin. It is only ex-administrators who get the parting gift of continued access and the ability to be another observer basically.

Not at all, in fact I don't think I post any differently than I did a couple of months ago. I first registered here because a couple of people thought my comments were going to get me into trouble in the Shelter (which they don't).

Of course I assume in your mind it's as simple as "tk poster = teh awesome, mod = the sawk" right?

Nothing really has changed, one of the problems is back and Neroonkeeper's 'triumphant' return to the staff is probably next.

Well, like I said, I'm swamped right now. I knew I didn't have the time for it, but no one else wanted to do it, so I got the ball rolling.

Unfortunately about 5 other balls that were more important got rolling at the same time and WF:TNG had to go on the back burner. :shrug:
