What baseball team should I follow?

It's a toss up between The Toronto Blue Jays and The Mets, Pittsburgh, or Detroit.

I refuse to root for any team from Seattle.
 
If you follow the Mets, be prepared for lots of heartache. You really have to want it to follow them. I was born a Mets fan so it comes naturally to me.

Detroit and Pittsburgh are safe bets if you want a team with a shot at the post-season...I don't know what Toronto's chances look like this year.
 
Probably not very good. I don't think they're a great team (but what do I know).

One time at the library branch I go to, one of the librarians had a Toronto hat on, which he apparently got because he liked the look of it.

It was a nice hat...
 
I've been to dozens of Met games and even a few Yankee games, but I've never been to Fenway Park to see the Red Sox.

I need to do something about that soon...
 
I could support Boston too, since my bff is from that state.
 
David Wright got married in December, so now I have to find a new "future husband" player. :(
 
Well I'm sure that MLB has many strapping young players for you to choose from.

I know there are a lot of people who are tired of a baseball team being associated with Bernie Madoff. But I hadn't seen that.

If they had done this a year or two ago, I'd agree with them. But more money has been flowing into payroll, and the lineup is looking pretty good right now. We have a good GM and a great manager, and Wright is a good captain. Let the team play out the year, and if it all falls apart again, THEN put up the billboard.

I shudder to think what evil corporate entity out there might want the team.
