Oh, the olive-skinned Billy Elliot. For a second I thought you were applauding that Idol kid from last year, for coming out or something. :lol:

I'll give a thorough review later, work is a little busy at the moment.

Overall, I'm surprised that the media has generally been kind to the show, because I thought it was a huge mess. NPH was funny and fabulous as always, so it's not his fault. But for some reason, after 50 years, the producers still don't know how to put together a coherent 3-hour telecast that manages to make people excited about coming to NY to see a show.

I'm glad Billy Elliot won everything. Except for Next to Normal none of the other nominated musicals are worth the ticket price. Rock of Ages? Really?

I'd like to see several of the plays, maybe. My friend just saw Waiting for Godot on Saturday and liked it, but I'm not sure I would from how he described it.

NPH was hilarious with the sushi joke, and the song at the end. Actually, I'm a little talked out about it because I was discussing it live on two different sites while it was airing live.

Liza was a frayed wire -- all spark and no focus, LOL. She sang, but her voice was huskier than than usual, and forget about high notes. When she won, her producer was supposed to make the speech but she took over and started rambling incoherently.

BUT IT'S LIZA AND WE LOVE HER SO NOBODY BETTER CROSS HER! Y'HEAR?
