What do YOU call 'em???

No one even said there WERE images...

Blame it on Dr Dace OR THE CHINAMAN.

GRRRRRRRRRRRRrrrrrrrrr

I have loaned mine out to some wretch who has NOT returned tham and of course we are having a MONSOON and I need them. Should I stick to buying another $15. pair of the black with orange gum soles or should I go for FANCY with checks or polka dots or flowers at $80?

p.s. the word MONSOON was used gratuitously because one doesnt get to use that word in Canada much. Sorry.

akkk! just remembered I have also heard them called gum boots so have added that to the poll.

yes, it is raining out and I am stuck inside and will do anything to avoid house work, as I want to be out in my garden having fun, not vacuuming and dusting.

In fact, FIE, I say, FIE upon vacuuming and dusting!

there, I said it.

I've been in my garden for the last 3 hours WATERING and hunting for cucumbers and squash and tomatoes.

I hope you learned your lesson, NEVER LOAN OUT YOUR RUBBERS.

Good advice.

HAVE SOME OF OUR RAIN CASSIE!

Hobbits have no word for wellies.

well those hairy toes are waterproof, ain't they?

HROOM HROOM!

Is it time for the return of my Dr McCoy avatar...

Everyone should have a different TOS actor!

I'll see what I have in stock!

We call them "γαλότσες" here.

We call them "why the fuck we out in the wet" boots.

We call them "what are those boots called that people wear in the countryside?"

Chicks tend to wear them a lot.

Batman wore them on four non-consecutive occasions.

I call them COW POOP SHOES.

Hmmm... rubber-boots, wellies, topboots, billy-boots, gumboots, gummies, barnboots, wellieboots, muckboots or rainboots - not worn over shoes. Wear to work in to keep feet dry and clean.

Galoshes are rubber boots - worn over shoes. Wear to work to keep feet dry and clean, then take them off like the raincoat and put with the umbrella to dry off.

It is fun to get covered up in rain gear and go for a walk when I don't have to go anywhere in particular.
