We retreat within the walls

When did it die, this trust of character
It seems like it never existed, this hope defender

But if you show regret now
And retreat with face in row

It can't seem to decide if it wants people to be troublemakers or do-gooders. Either way, it's hoping we don't sit at home all day and get blitzed while watching Tyra.
