Is this real life?
I've got four months off uni and a broadband connection. I'm planning on downloading a lot of TV. So far I've started with Jericho because it's got an apocalypse.

My list so far:

Jericho
Veronica Mars
Angel season 4
Stargate Atlantis season 2+

What else should I add?
 
Bittorrent is amazingly good for porn, I found out after my harddrive died. I got back most of my old collection and more from Demonoid alone.
 
Jericho got canceled, the bastards. I didn't watch it but I know a lot of people who liked it.

Have you been watching Boston Legal? I love that show. The Daily Show and The Colbert Report are hilarious... ummm oh I know, Rescue Me is an awesomely awesome show. Seriously, download a few episodes to try it, it is great.

Ok.. If I tell you what it's about you're probably not going to want to watch it, but I promise that it is so good you might DIE. Well only if you like really good dramas.

Dennis Leary and Peter Tolan created it.. and Dennis Leary stars in it. It is about the personal lives of some NYC firefighters after 9/11.. I know that is a turn off when describing the show, but it's a comedy/drama. I love it and I can't wait till the next damn season starts but I don't know when that'll be because it's on FX. OH it's gonna be back on in June.. YAY.

There are some really hot guys in it, and Tommy drinks so much he hallucinates that he's talking to Jesus.

A comedy drama about NYC firefighters sounds like it's worth watching at least once. Is it a bit Six Feet Under-ish(never watched it myself)?

I'm gonna catch up on South Park, but there's a site that has the whole series on it.
 
Do you watch House on Five? If not, download. Billy Kennedy's in it.
 
I never watched Six Feet Under, so I don't know. I think that show was on HBO here and I don't have it... or I just missed it somehow.

Denis Leary is kickass in Rescue Me though.. I've always thought he was a pretty good actor, but I didn't know he could REALLY act.
 
I've seen bits and pieces of House(and Billy Kennedy), but Hugh Laurrie's accent puts me off. I know Americans think it's really realistic, but WE KNOW HOW HE REALLY TALKS!

I don't really know who Dennis Leary is, but I'll add Rescue Me to THE LIST
 
Laurie's accent is NOT a valid reason to dislike House, it's a great show and he does an amazing acting job in the lead. I never think of him as the Prince Regent or any of his other roles when I'm watching it.

I am currently downloading season 7 of DS9 and the adventures of brisco county jr, staring Bruce Cambell.
 
Brisco County Jr is a laff riot, i loved it when i caught it back in the day. and six feet under is super good too, but you kinda should watch from season 1.
 
Grab the nine episodes of "Knights of Prosperity." That show is fucking awesome.


Prison Break is an amazing show that should not be missed if you haven't already seen it.

Deadliest Catch. A Discovery channel show about fishing for Alaskan King Crab in the Bearing Sea. Absolutley crazy program.

Umm... Start downloading the Daily Show and The Colbert Report as well.


Derren Browns new show Trick or Treat is worth a download if you missed it at home.

I've been watching Prison Break and Derren Brown(who's very cruel now.. but always says his contestants had fun and don't have lasting psychological problems).

The fishing thing sounds weird. Doesn't sound like something that'd make a great series, but I'll give it a go. And I'll download Knights of Propserity even though I'm not quite sure what it is. :p

I watched the first two episodes of Jericho last night. I quite like it, though it's a bit B-movie-ish. It's like one of those disaster movies that you watch hoping that the radioactive tornado earthquake meteor WILL hit the town and kill all the main characters. It's nice to have another show to watch that has a continuing story arc with mysteries to ponder, but you can see they haven't spent $2mil on each episode like Heroes. The script can be a bit cliché and they keep playing unrelated pop songs, which coupled with the fact that it takes place in a small town in Kansas, gives it a horrible Smallville feel at times. I'll bear with it in the hopes that we find out where the nukes came from before the series got canceled.
 
Jericho has already been cancelled, I believe.
