Facebook is soooo early '09. Smashespace is where it's at.
 
Whisky, I was getting that about thirty minutes ago, so I guess they're having issues. I was logged in, and then when I clicked on something, it was slow loading, and then I got the website can't be found blah blah blah.
 
Facebook is always ridiculously slow for me. We have a super-fast connection, but I still find myself writing long posts on Word and cutting/pasting.
 
FACEBOOK IS THE DEVIL. I'm not getting a facebook acct, I can't even be bothered with my myspace acct. All my friends live at TK ANYWAY.
 
I keep forgetting to update my Facebook account anyway.
 
Facebook is much better than Myspace to a factor of about a billion. I still don't use it much though.
 
I just got a message on my twitter saying "LOL".

I've been on facebook for.... hmm.... since 02 IIRC. Set up a myspace just b/c everyone else seemed to have one. Thank God, facebook won the war, so I'll never have to go to myspace again! LOL
 
I didn't even realise facebook had been around that long.
 
FACEBOOK = DEAD TO ME
 
It's a wonderful tool for international networking IMHO.

One of my nieces just spent a semester in Italy, and FB was indeed a great way for her to keep in touch, with pictures etc.

But I really don't care if someone I went to high school with, and haven't spoken to in 20 years, has to take her kitty to the vet. I just don't.
 
I just don't add people I went to school with, or anyone I haven't spoken to in about five years.

Yep. Between home, boarding school, 2 colleges, summer abroad, spending summers working at the beach, globetrotting for free (visiting all the above contacts! :D), and then knocking around the country/world with the Army I've got a wide network of people. Facebook is awesome to keep in touch with them all. Never know when I might need a place to stay in Montreal/Buenos Aires/Bilboa/etc... ;)
 
I don't care about people at all.
