What's up with the image links?

They hold for a couple days, then it converts to a non link text file. The pics are still hosted on the sites I use.

I haven't experienced this problem. Could it be your source site?

Facebook? Twitter? Google searches? Those are the majority of the source sites. This has only been happening since the upgrade. And remember in the beginning of the upgrade we couldn't link pics to the site. The source material still exists on the sites I'm linking from. Thkis is happening with all my links, especially lately.

It generally doesn't do it in the Speak Freely forum. Mostly Media Center and Badlands lately.

Okay, today none of the Twitter links are showing up for me. I see images and videos, but no tweets. Weird.

In my case, it may be the security software on my work PC blocking it in Chrome. It works in Firefox...

Looks like 48-72 hours after the link is posted the software reduces the hotlink to a text link.

some stuff stays up forever, so that's not it. You couldn't even do the link functions when Menty did the last major upgrade. Used to have to IMG /IMG now it's automated but those hotlinks fail.

I checked one of them, it said the link expired.

I also noticed they were hotlinks from Fecesbook

they're probably altering the links after a while to avoid the hotlinking

I installed an extension on my browser, it allows me to rehost pics with just a right click

They stay there for a while

And I use this site to host videos, much better than youtube

Looks like whatever was broken got fixed. The format button has slightly changed, and the links seem to be sticking.
