Privatization with limited government control for cases where doctors kill people would cause the cost of healthcare to drop SIGNIFICANTLY.
And your documentary... it was done by Michael Moore. One of the most notoriously non-biased, communistic, mock-umentary (I say this, because to call any film he does a "documentary" is a big, fat joke.), pseudo-journalists to ever dis-grace the silver screen. His methods are unethical. He ommits material on purpose to suit his needs. He edits the CRAP out of the interviews he conducts. He reports un-founded claims that he literally PAYS PEOPLE TO PROVIDE. The guy is a liar.
Get your facts straight.
Cheap? Do you know that one of the best healthcare systems in the world is provided by Germany to its people? Did you also know they pay upwards of 50% income taxes? That is, by no means, cheap.
The documentary you cover doesn't go into how Canadians pay gigantic income taxes to get their "free" healthcare, also.
And when you're gonna reference a country with good healthcare, you reference Cuba!?
Are you for real? 'Cause I could swear that this is a troll. Who in their right mind would reference fucking CUBA!? A country that has managed to disenfranchise a LARGE majority of their citizens. Who taxes without representation. Who ONLY gives healthcare to those who can line Senior Castro's pockets! Who has been accused of some of the most heinous human rights violations. Cuba should be the LAST country you reference. WTF!?
Hey, I remember reading about a country that provided the best healt care and assisted living to nearly 12 million people. Unfortunately, most of the patients died. The healt care was FREE though. Too bad the government got deposed in the end. Nazi Germany was promising.
You're forbidden from speaking about this.
No, not forbidden.
Firstly, which system bred incompetent, greedy, unethical doctors??
I guess that would be the private one....the one with all the pay offs and kick backs which are largely unrelated to actually treating medical conditions.
Also, I never said public health was cheap, but its worth the cost to ensure a fair and safe heath system accessible by all.
Btw governments cover their arse against malpractice claims pretty nicely, in fact all claims pretty much, which is again....another incentive to do a good job from the beginning, setting high standards and maintaining them.
Fuck-up doctors, are the lone riders operating under the laws put in place for privatisation, the gate opened and the horses ran.
The UK seems to be able to do a pretty good job at public health also, Dr's are well paid, happy...clients have their med needs/emergency's met... etc blahblah
And Cuba....hell... they may have some spots on their shirt, but at least they 'got' the heath thing right, and have a mandatory service for all med grads to serve the third world, ie...positively impacting the vulnerable.
Something the US with all its glory, traded for some magic beanz.
The more thing, ya I agree he is a lying goose, just thought I would mention his little media tho.
Kthnx Conchaga ya lil elitist
