Yes mine is Time Warner. They had "outages" in certain "nodes" in my area that they supposedly cleared up, but they are back again. But it still may be that I need a new modem anyway.

Maybe its because Verizon's customer satisfaction surveys are very thorough?

My last job was conducting customer satisfaction surveys for Verizon. One of the surveys was about 20 minutes long. Of course you weren't allowed to tell the customer that.
