When were socks invented?

They were originally invented as pockets.

But they were too long, so they called them sockets at first.

Were socks invented before the skip?

I heard there was a major breakthrough when it came to socks in 1911.

Anybody know if that is true or not?

Well I know The Sock Hop used to be call The Hop. Not sure when it switched over though.

Some socks are so thin that they provide literally no protection against tickling.

They should come with a warning label.

They should come in R and L. Or with an extra.

Some people just have socks tattooed onto their feet.

They should just go buy ACTUAL SOCKS!

You wouldn't say that if you had seen the poor excuses of socks I've knitted so far... (Usually I just steal some out of other people's washing machines, tbh)

I know. It's one hell of a task to find a matching pair before they catch me.

I have a pretty good trick where I make something disappear that they'll like. I'll need to cull a "volunteer" from the crowd though.
