Where is Bush?

Um, the US kicked out the Arabs, and then said "Hey, Jews, we made a home for you."

Really?? So the United States masqueraded as the British when they decided to withdraw from the British Mandate of Palestine? The United States was part of the 1948-1949 War of Independence, a war which resulted in a 50% increase in Israel's land? As a result of the 1948 war, Israel controlled all the territory allotted to them under the Partition Plan, much of the territory allotted to the Arabs under the Plan, and half of what was to be the UN-administered City of Jerusalem. The remaining Arab territories were the West Bank and the Gaza Strip; the West Bank was administered by Jordan, while the Gaza Strip was administered by Egypt.

You're right, it's all George W. Bush's fault, too!!

We need to introduce American football to the Middle East. That way instead of the different sides blowing each other up, they can wave the colors of their favorite football team and cheer for them at the stadium.

(That would be a lot saner than fighting over that miserable scrap of desert.)

I prefer sending them all to Allah instead. It's what they want anyway. Won't they be in for a shock when they meet Satan instead? :D

President Bush needs to speak out against the spiraling violence in the Middle East. Israel and Lebanon are on the verge of war. Most likely Syria, Iran and other Arab countries will join in. Our troops are in the middle of it all, and it will be nearly impossible to stay out of it. Or alies will also join in.

This is where it gets dangerous. You see, Russia and China are growing economies that are heavily oil dependant. They know the Arab world can't win a war against the Western Block countries. That leaves the prospect of the majority of the worlds oil supply in the hands of Western Block countries. Despite the end of the cold war, they still aren't going to like that idea.

This has real potentional of getting very serious. Whatever my feelings are about Bush, I hope he steps up like presidents of the past and calms this down sooner rather than later.

Please, please let him continue to talk!

Putin let him have it with both barrels at the G8, democracy like the one in Iraq, priceless!

Putin could be invited to host SNL if he keeps it up with the one liners. Factor in his line about Cheney hunting and he's well on his way.

George W. Bush, America's answer to Boris Yeltsin.
