On a related note, if I hadn't been wasting time on Episode 1 of the hunt for the RMS Republic, I'd have been watching "Weird Earth," which is an annoying show. I mean, I appreciate the premise, but it still annoys me too much to watch.

They show weird natural phenomena. They know what's going on. But because that would make for a very short show, they pretend they don't know what is going on as an excuse to show other weird natural phenomena. And it annoys the crap out of me, because I generally have a pretty good idea what's going on, but I have to sit through "Maybe it's a new form of life?" "Maybe it's Bigfoot?" No. It's plant blossoms. My chestnut tree has them and everyone in the video knows what they are because they happen every May.

If you're watching a History Channel show about a search for lost treasure, just shut it off and google it. Or don't even bother. They did not find the treasure. They strung you along for a season or two with no payoff.

And if they're hunting for Hitler, post April 1945, don't even tune in. He killed himself and had his body burned. He did not secretly exscape to play Yahtzee with Bigfoot at a Holiday Inn in Tacoma. Or Buenos Aires.

But many of his officers did escape to South America. Just like Peter Thiel is doing right now...

OK. So everyone knows Hitler was born on 4/20. Stoners celebrate it. But for the earlier post I realized he died on 4/30. So it would be pretty obvious to have a 10 day Hitlerfest--if a 10 day Hitlerfest was in any way a good idea.

Yup. One of the Big Bads had a happy and full life there before eventually dying of a heart attack while swimming or somesuch. Mengele? Eichman? I forget. I think Mossad got Eichman.

Yeah, that goes back a ways. We called it that too, but it was a pretty interesting look into history, as opposed to whatever the hell it is they're doing now.
