They are in an asteroid field just outside of hoth, now with no travelling faster than the speed of light possible, they still get from there to Bespin.

Either stars are a lot closer to each other in the star wars universe, or that was a loooooooooonnnggg trip.
 
That's why it took 16 years to make TPM.

Well, they could have travelled for a month to reach Bespin but they just made it look like a quick trip with the editing, or they could travel at JUST UNDER the speed of light, or something, IT'S FANTASY NOT SCI-FI! Firefly ripped off this quick travelling between planets concept, now that I think about it.
 
Well some people theorise(backed up in Serenity) that Firefly takes place in one single solar system.

Yeah, the one big solar system thing is even stupided though! I suppose all the planets could have been terraformed (and all turned out like the old west somehow.)
 
All terraformed, and all somehow within the one thin orbit of the sun where the heat isnt too hot or too cold to support life.
 
And in this one solar system no one stumbled across Miranda by accident in all the years after the plaque (though I suppose it was surrounded by Reaves, WHO BY THE WAY were supposed to be people who flew to the edge of space and went mad, not plague victims.)
 
Its also a bit unusal to see planet hiding dust clouds/nebulas inside a solar system, where the orbits of 20 or so habitable planets would soon make them drift appart.

I have always found the dumping of the garbage to be totally crap. Ships have computers to calculate routes so they don't fly right through a star or a planet or whatever. These computers would not know about the garbage, which would be lethal if flown into.

You have to wonder where some of the rubbish came from, I mean most of it is huge peices of machinery, where are the pizza boxes and the cardboard bits from the middle of toilet rolls?
 
That's why they have trash compactors.
 
If I ever get shot, I want my body burned and strapped to the front of a car. In a tasteful way.

The thing is, Luke was so bad ass by that point, why did any of the others need to go at all?

He could have wandered in there, slaughtered everyone in his path (like he ended up doing anyway) taken Han, and left, without anyone else potentially getting hurt/raped.

I mean, did Liea change into that bikini willingly?
 
And I thought I knew a little something about star wars...
 
Well, he'd probably have prefered not to slaughter ANYONE, not even pig guards. Pig guards are just as alive as Jedis!
