it's because all of the other screws are holding the whatever too tightly and the thinger doesn't line up quite right with the holes. if you would save a turn on each screw until you have them all seated, and then go back around and tighten them down, you may find that it seats a little better.
 
Cock must work for IKEA. I simply drill holes in the right place.
 
Man I was totally screwing and aligning last night and I must say, there were times it was not fun at all. But when it all came together, it was fucking awesome, and it was so big! Everybody could see it, it grabbed a lot of attention.
