why moving house is the 3rd most stressful thing in life

So finally yesterday we here that our buyers have signed the mortgague and the money will be coming soon to pay for our house.

Great news I think.

So I get home to find a message on the answer machine from the people we are buying from saying they are tired of waiting and are going to put their house back on the market.

They are also no longer taking our calls, so I had to spend the rest of the night ringing my estate agent and their estate agents to get one of them to tell them the money is there now and for them to stop being such a bunch of impatient cunts.

They managed to get them to delay putting the house back on the market, but if the completion date isnt next friday they are still going through with it.

Then we get our next door neighbour come round last night to tell us three teenagers tried to break into his house last night, and that the kids round here break into empty houses as soon as the removal van has turned the corner of the street.

Cue Jenny getting me to go downstairs at midnight because she through she heard a noise, which was nothing.

So bad nights sleep for me, another nervous day today while we see if all the various soliciters, estate agents, and other cunts in the chain can get their act together long enough to actually make this house move happen.

Then we can finally get out of this hellhole street.

ASBO kids should be put back down the mines.

Good luck with the move.

Thanks, I'll need it.

Just spoke to the buyer, she is going to the soliciters on monday to sign, but that is no guarentee the completion date will be on or before the deadline.

I am seriously considering asking my sister in law if I can buy the house she is selling, that would teach them a lesson, even if it did mean I would be moving to completely the wrong end of town I want to.

Make sure you're happy with where you are going too so you don't have to consider moving again in a year or some such. Drive time to work, local shops, ect, ect...

Its a lot further from work if we have to take the sister in laws place, but at least there's a garage, and its a nice area.

Fuck all to do there though, apart from the pub.

Looking on the bright side, even if these people put their house back on the market, there's nothing to say they'd sell it quickly. Your buyers should only take a few days to come through, so you'd probably still find the other house available.

First and second = child birth and marriage?

Divorce and bereavement apparently.

Isn't the whole point of divorce that it brings an end to stress?

Arrgggg!

Now the solicitor rings up saying the buyer wants to know if we had planning permission for the extension and she needs to see it before monday.

The extension was put in by the council before it was bought so I havent got any planning permission to show them.

Luckily I was able to take some pictures up and down the street showing all the houses have the same extension and that seems to have satisfied them for now.

Sellers pulling out I can just about handle, buyers pulling out would be a nightmare.

Leave a bunch of killer monkeys in the house when you move out. Just for a laugh.

gods I hate moving!!
best of luck with all this Rich, hope the aggro's done soon.

The sister in law showed us her house today, then did all she could to talk us out of going for it.

If it wasn't for her constantly hard nipples and huge boobs she would have no redeeming features at all.

LOL! everyone's good some good points!

(oops! that was an accident! really!)

I will not move. I will have this house demolished and a new one built on the spot.

Is she custom made?
