Why wasn't BSG on last night?

It wasn't on because of the super bowl. Two weeks ago when it was on opposite the championship game the ratings tanked and obviously the super bowl would draw even more viewers than that.
 
They should have had a Super Bowl themed episode where 16 year old cheerleaders appear in Baltar's sexual fantasies.
 
Instead, I rented seasons 1 & 2 for yesterday - as a refresher. Some thoughts.... "Adama is a cylon". Could it be Lee & not the old man? Starbuck, definitely The Chosen One? Rosilyn, though survived cancer, prophesies say she won't survive to see earth - soon to be dirtnapped? Baltar, told he will be spared the fate of the humans in the end - don't know yet what that entails.

am I up to speed then where the woman with the book of scriptures reached down to look at a grave and it exploded and it was a Cylon trap?
and the pregnant Cylon girl stopped the attack by grabbing a big honking gun, and Apollo was about to shoot her in the brig but Stabuck stopped him and then later he blurted out he loved her?
I only caught the last 1/2 hr on Friday because SOME people would not stop playin HALO! :rwmad:
 
That is a season 2 episode where Starbuck has retrieved the Arrow of Apollo, & they all go down to Cobol and are looking for the temple. They get into a firefight with the Cylons as you described and the fat black lady prophet is blown to Smitherians. In part 2 of it Col. Adama wants to reunite the fleet so goes to Cobol to help. Tom Zarek and his cronie want to kill Lee Adama before they reach the temple on Cobol. Up to speed next week in season 3, will be the trial of Baltar.
 
Gahh, I have to right a speech for an awards thingy.. it's about season one. I'm gonna have to watch it all over again.
 
Season 1 Synopisis:

33: Fleet has to jump every 33 mins., Lee nukes a commercial craft to stop the cycle
Water: Sharon blows up the water tanks on Galactica, Baltar develops Cylon test
Bastille Day: They find the ice planet with water, Tom Zarek and prisoners on Astral Queen riot
Act Of Contrition: 13 pilots die in a hanger accident, Starbuck has to train new recruits, and has to tell the old man she got Zack Adama killed
Missing 4 Epsisodes: - sorry
Col. Tigh's Wife: she shows up and starts making shit
The Hand Of God: tylium-rich asteroid needed as fuel for jumps found but occupied by Cylons, Gallactica attacks, Lee blows up Cylon station, Baltar thinks his part in it is devined by god.
Colonial Day: Quorum of 12 is formed, Zarek gets nominated for Rosiln's VP, Baltar wins VP
Kobol's Last Gleaming (Part 1&2): Scout ship finds the planet Cobol & a bunch of Cylons orbiting it, before they reach surface they have to destroy Cylon base ship, Baltar & others crash land on surface and wipe out some Cylons, Sharon sends a nuke into cylon base ship. Roslin gets Starbuck to take the captured Cylon ship back to old Caprica and retrieve the Arrow of Apollo. Adamad shot, martial law declared.
 
Oh. Stupid damned absurd super bowl!! Well I hope Heroes was/is on tonight so I can download something. I get the shakes if I don't download something every few days.
 
heh. I'm really enjoying the plotting/back stabbing among the humans - they're worse than the Cylons!
 
33 is still one of my favorite episodes. I don't think any other has had the suspense and drama of that one.

I've got one paragraph of my speech! I am a terrible procrastinator.
 
What's odd is that the preview they showed last week was for the one where Baltar is on trial, but now the preview is where Bruce Davidston guest-stars as a doctor with, perhaps, bad intentions towards his patients. And it seems Helo is the main lead in that one.

WTF gives???
 
I wish Helo would die. His character has become the most annoying on the show.

I read somewhere that the bad doctor might be going after Dee... and I also think this next episode is gonna have a lot of Adama flashbacks.
 
I remember the preview pics showing Adama would be having flashbacks. I forget what period of his life they were in, although I don't recall his porno moustache, so must be recent.

Helo's fucking annoying. I've lost track of how many reckless things he's done which've been completely ignored just because "everything turned out okay in the end".
 
Exactly.. RM said in a podcast that Helo's getting away withall this shit because he didn't think the fans would want him to be punished. I just want the show to make fucking sense.. it doesn't make sense that an officer could sabotage a mission and there not be any investigation and then everything's just a-OK.. then he can shoot his wife so she can go on her own little mission and nothing gets done then either. HELO NEEDS TO DIE... alsdkfjsldkjs
 
so last night the Cyborg chick shot Tom's conniving friend, and the group is joined together again, they just got into a tomb full of statues and Starbuck put the arrow into Saggitarius statue and then they were on a GRASSY KNOLL with 12 standing stones around them and stars shining in the sky in the same pattern as the jewels in the monliths,Starbuck said "THIS IS EARTH!" and the front doorbell rang and I didnt even have a chance to turn the machine on to tape the last 10 minutes!!!

OMG _ WAHT HAPPENED NEXT???????
 
They recognised the constellations in the sky and worked out where Earth must be from that, so they now have a map to Earth. Adama then probably made a speech.
