I don't see anything "woot" about a bowtie, but the rest is okay.

Well considering the rumours were of jeans and a band t-shirt, anything "older beyond his looks" is okay to me.

Not a fan of the new Doctor's duds. Not at all. Companion looks cute, though she's no Freema.
 
It would be pretty silly to have her playing any other character.

When's the new series start? I know BBC America is running the special with Michelle Ryan on Sunday. Is that the 1st of the last 4 that Tenant was working on?
 
Yes, that's the first of the four specials, Matt Smith's series probably wont start until Easter 2010.
 
Although we will see him very briefly in the last Tennent special.

I guess those ropey vids of the tardis exploding on location will help explain why it looks different now.
 
And it's absolutely Godawful (the Michelle Ryan episode.)
 
^^Crap. I'll still watch it, of course, and I'll download the ones I've not yet seen (Time Crash, Voyage of the Damned, The Next Doctor), since I am a Whovian no matter what. But I had hopes that the last 4 Tennant specials would be nothing short of bloody brilliant.
 
I liked it, I dont get a lot of the hate others have had for it, there have been far worse episodes
 
Michelle Ryan sucked at the Beyonic Woman.
