There is no official "shortlist". Since Elwood and Bear are friends most likely at some point Elwood mentioned he had his own shortlist of options if he ever left, but that is just thinking ahead not any sort of "Blacklist".

That might be. The way Bear made it sound is that this is something that was established a while back and that Lanzman had the right of first refusal if and when Elwood decided to sell the board.

I was going to say for #8 that Wordforge doesn't lock Help Desk threads but then I remembered that stupid attempt at squashing discussion started a few months ago.
