It was 17 frames all between Northern Ireland's Denis Taylor & England's own Steve "Interesting" Davis. It was going down to the last frame in a titanic struggle, well into the early hours of the morning.
Finally it all came down to the last black ball. Denis Taylor sunk it to beat the hot favourite, and win his first (and only) world title.
My verdict: Steve Davis can't act. There's no way he should have been playing the part of Ron Weasley, and Alex Higgins was totally miscast as Voldemort.
