Would the Spider-Man movies be better if Tobey McGuire's voice wasn't so boring?

I've liked Tobey in spite of his squeaky whiny voice. But it's obvious that he won't age well.

Michael J Fox has the same thing and he... well, he WAS hot. I don't know about now.

MJF has a cute look about him that suited the voice. It has that wistful trace of self-aware irony in it that makes it (and him) palatable/charming.

Tobey just sounds like a bad car horn.

Tobey McGuire is really fucking crappy, someday we will be able to alter the spider man movies to replace him with someone else
