Writer-less Daily Show & Colbert Report

They are doing pretty damn good without their writers. Monday night Jon Stewart was a little freaked out about it, but by last night he seemed more comfortable. Stephen was hilarious on both nights (as always).

I agree. Jon seemed a little out of his element and Stephen seemed much better just winging it and improvising.

Haven't seen last nights shows yet but they're almost downloaded. Just glad the shows are back.

Stewart's show seems worse. It was almost painful to watch. Some of the jokes, like the nine-eleven one, werent funny and seemed kinda mean-spirited for whatever reason.

Youre right about Colbert tho. His show was just as funny and felt smooth and relaxed.

Stephen is the best, no doubt about it. I imagine he improvises a lot even when he has writers.

Jon should do longer interviews, because he does a really good job there.

The beginning of last night's Colbert Report was the funniest shit ever.. or maybe I just thought it was. I don't want to say what happened in case Menty hasn't seen it yet. I laughed out loud.
