One of my first posts in last year's thread, which I'd forgotten aboot:

1.1.08 - Just got a surprise Happy New Year's call from Devon, he's doing well and is still quite sexy.

No such call this year. I don't even have a current cell number for him.

1/2/09 - Felt a small twinge of sadness telling my OS to shut down one last time so I could install over it. Resolved to talk to people more often, because what I do already obviously isn't enough.

Also, felt jealous that Eggs was the first one to mention the DATE FORMAT WAR in the new year, not me.

Jan.3/09: me too! well, had a productive day (NOT) that is! No &^%$# soccer, so spammed, listened to opera, read part of a Peter Wimsy novel, spammed, looked at the still-adorned tree, ate, spammed, drank tea, visited relatives, drank more tea, spammed. NOW I HAVE TO PULL DINNER OUT OF MY HAT AND I'M NOT EVEN WEARING ONE.
