Yes, I captionined SNOOKI'S POOP instead of POOF. No, I don't think Ellen Degeneres said POOP, but on our steno machines, the F and the P are right next to each other, so it just happened.

A freudian slip? Maybe. But the fact that my mistake has become a youtube thing kinda makes me feel weird.

Nah. In fact some of my co-workers are petitioning to contact the Ellen show to get me on.

And I made up for it the next day when she decided to test whoever was captioning her show by saying Mary Poppin's fave word (I'm not typing that out) but if you know the song, you know what I'm talking about. We all have a brief for that one for moments such as those.

^Yes, that's the vid Henoch. DAMN YOU!!!! And I was the one having to relive the moment as well, so a double whammy.

I don't close caption for a tv station, a caption for a captioning company. It goes out to live, but I do many shows, including Ellen, Jerry, Regis, ESPN, news and city council meetings, tons of sports. We contract with companies and TV stations. I'm the chosen one for Ellen.

We've got a poof in the attic, it came with the two couches, but we havent really got room for it.
