Yet another apocalypse dream

Is this real life?
Giant meteors came raining down over my town(not like in smallville, these things were the size of houses), landing very close by and blowing shit up. Scared the crap out of me and I was sure one of these things was going to hit my road eventually and I'd die. Sure enough, I spotted one that was blatently going to come slap bang down on my house, which I was standing next to. It all happened in slow motion.. just as I was about to be obliterated I caught sight of vegetation and some sort of structures on the rock, so I'm guessing it was actually part of the planet that'd been torn apart by god knows what and these were just shards of the broken surface of the Earth. And I actually died, which never usually happens in my dreams.

Quite cool, but I'd really like to know why I have so many dreams about an apocalypse. I swear I've seen the end of civilisation in every possible way now.
 
dunno - i do know that it is exceptionally rare to actually die in dreams. i've been shot in the head in dreams but stayed alive.

Yesterday I dreamed I was at a concert where the beatles were playing, they were not only all still alive, but looked very young, as they did when they were first starting out.

I told the others at work about it, then later in the day when I checked the BBC news site, they said it was the 50th anniversary of the beatles first playing the cavern club in liverpool.

Something I was not aware of going to bed.
 
No, it was definatly modern day, because the beatles were sharing teh stage with Beyonce, and I think some sort of time travel or cloning technology had been used to recreat them.
 
I had a dream I was stroking Natalie Portman and when I woke up I could still feel her for a moment. DOES THAT MEAN I CONJOURED A GHOSTLY NATALIE TO MY BED?
