You did not listen to God

Working in the industry I almost have too many estimates and too much advice! I can take my car to the 1700 place-I just have to deal with towing it from the place I have it at now and swallow my pride and not be a people pleaser. I know that probably makes little sense-I will do research on engine installs and what to expect.
 
Hmmmm the more expensive shop is willing to negotiate and set up a payment plan after all. Interesting.
I prayed about it btw.
He called and asked what my plan was and I was honest and upfront and told him I planned on taking it to another place.

This "I didn't listen to God, so he dun did smite me" is a little annoying. You could've listened, been a "good girl" so to speak and still have your engine die. Maybe you'll get something good out of having no car.


At any rate, sorry if I pissed you off or whatever, it's late and I've had an economy sized day. Tact is low and sleep tops it up.

Anyway, I was really just stating what this girl at work told me.
I got a speeding ticket and could have avoided that. My engine would have probably eventually gone bad-but I could have done a little more preventive maintanance to prolong its life.
I don't think God was smiting me-but I think when I try to do my will, and do my life my way (reacting-not waiting) then I sometimes run into trouble. Does that make sense?
I do get your point tho. (Don't read too much into my spam) ;)
But we could discuss this more. Maybe I can be enlightened!

Well, I could start with the fact that the same people that killed Jesus (the Romans) are the same ones that spread his worship to the western world...

The fact that a lot of violent death and persecution and torture and bigotry were carried out in the name of a "loving god" also make me suspicious ;)
