i own all three goty versions of fallout 3 morrowind and oblivion, and i have racked up minimum of 300 hours on each in different files an such, there all class. imho

Oblivion is a fantastic achievement and a great game. Saying it isn't comes off more as trying to be different for the sake of being different than anything else.

It's not perfect but nobody said it was. The biggest gripe being a sub-par levelling system that also grades monsters to your own level. But despite that it's still brilliant.
