The structure of this season is really weird. It's hard to care about the scenes in the present when we already know how things turn out. I guess the mystery is what happens to Oliver.

I expect season 8 to overturn this future.

Yeah that was weird since that first scene with him was set maybe 15 to 20 years ago but he looked older than in season one seven years ago. They could have at least put some make-up on him.

Honestly I completely zone out on Oliver's stories now and can't remember anything that's happened in them. He feels like a guest character in his own show now.

Don't care about Emiko.

When they were talking about Thea, Roy or Oliver should have pointed out that Emiko isn't actually her sister anyway (Malcolm is Thea's dad.)

They are both half sister's to Oliver though.
Can't wait for this dreary season to end.

Sky definitely cut that to shreds as one moment Emiko was fighting side by side with Oliver, the next she's dying and the two people they were fighting have disappeared. Not that I really cared about her.

So Oliver spends twenty years fighting in other dimensions or soething? Next season is going to be weird.
