Locke calls him James because Locke knows his story. The other Losties don't know about the real Sawyer, unless he told Kate when they were doing it. I don't remember the rest of them hearing his story, anyway.
 
Juliet and Kate always calls him James as well, but they're special.

JUST AS KATE ARRIVES.
 
I liked the newest episode, but really it was mostly about getting them back to the island. Looks like they went pretty far back in time, since Jin is wearing a Dharma uniform when he finds Jack, Kate, and Hurley. OH and we're getting a few new Losties.. I know the woman who was escorting Sayid will be in the next episode. I guess the Mexican looking guy will be in the cast now too. I wonder if they're just convenient redshirts, who'll die before the season is over.

HOW WILL DESMOND END UP ON THE ISLAND?!! The island isn't through with him, so you know he has to go back. I hope he can bring Penny and Charlie with him. If he goes to the same time period as the others, then there will be plenty of supplies and his kid won't have to starve.

What the fuck happened to Aaron? Kate just let him go? I bet she gave him to Claire's mom.

I thought the flash and the plane and then them materializing on the island was kinda dumb.. should've just crashed the plane. I wonder if Frank is on the island now too.

my guess is that when we saw Ben all bloodied up at the pay phone, that was shortly after he had killed Penny - he did tell Widmore he was going to do that shit. Desmond finds out, finds out that Ben went back to the island, and must pursue him thusly. just a guess.
 
He better not kill Penny (although that would make him available for ME).

I liked it when Desmond walked back and forth through the giant pendulum. I wonder how many times he actually got hit with it, and if it knocked him down.
 
I thought Ben had gone back to ask Desmond again and got beaten up, but the Penny theory makes a lot more sense.

I think the pendulum was put in afterwards.

I found it a bit slow, the opening was great, with its riff on the very first episode, but the rest of the episode just seemed like filler to get to where it started from.

I hope there was a co-pilot on that plane, because if the losties and Frank just vanished from the plane, and the rest of it stayed up there, then suddenly there is noone flying that plane.

It probably did crash though since the airline was the same one that Sawyer and Juliet drank the water bottles from the new wreckage on the beach.

Mr Mexican probably will feature, as otherwise why have him, he seemed more than just an extra.

I think Ben might have been fighting with some of Widmores hired goons, or possibly Syied beat him up, in a fight that Ben set up so cops would see, and arrest Syied, then deport him to guam, thanks to some false documents that Ben set up showing Syied as a fugative from guam.

Then again he might just have been trying to put eye drops in a four year old.
 
Kind of a weird episode. Mrs SQUAWKING'S explanation about the island constantly moving "and that's why you were never rescued" didn't really make sense consdiering they WERE rescued after Charlie contact Penny at the end of season 3 and she found the island (and Widmore's freighter found it too.) So it must have been still for a while for them to find it, RIGHT? I suppose we aren't supposed to think about things like that anymore as there were a few "STOP THINKNIG ABOUT THINGS ANd MAKE A LEAP OF FAITH" lines.

The middle of the episode seemed a bit like padding with Jack slowly walking around his house and OH LOOK IT'S KATE and she can't tell him what's happened to Aaron (MORE QUESTIONS LOL) and they have angry sex! Maybe Claire's ghost told her she has to get pregnant. Then Jack sees his never mentioned before grandad (COULD HE BE JACOB OMG) and then walks around a butcher's really slowly and puts John's shoes on really slowly and stares at John's letter for about ten minutes then rides it and it doesn't say anything useful anyway. YAWN LOL.

Last week Sun was all angry going to kill Jack and Ben, this week she's all smiley and has no problem with them or leaving her baby behind probably FOREVER. Yeah, that's consistent!

I guess Ben did try to kill Penny but Desmond beat the shit out of him? But why would Des go back to the island then (which he obviously will)? To beat the shit out of Ben again? Sadly I think Penny's dead and he'll be going back for revenge.

Was there actually wreckage from the Aljira flight on the island a few weeks ago or was there just water bottles? Either the plane crashed and Jack, Hurly, Kate (and probably Sayid, Frank, Sun and Ben) were pulled back in time OR they were just pulled back when they flew over the island and the plane flew on without them. Maybe the obviously "HI I'M ANEW CHARACTER" guy and the woman with Sayid were pulled back too because they were sitting close to the main characters?

The ISLAND seems to have CURED FRANK lapdancers of his BEARD!!

If Locke comes back to life when hes back on the island, does that mean Christian is also really alive?
