just a gentle rustle of the bushes before they are discovered followed by "oh shit!" or "oh fuck!"

If you are lucky they sometimes drop their binoculars when they run.

I was for a bit, but my hometown where I grew up and have currently moved back to is still very rural. I hear peepers outside my window every morning.

City living isn't bad but its nice to live in a nice quiet, friendlier rural area where everyone knows who you are.

Wow, I've never heard that sound before. You can listen to it on Wiki, thats neat. It almost sounds like crickets in a group. Our frogs are much more gutteral sounding.
