I started wearing glasses a couple days ago. I've probably needed them for at least a year. OMG I CAN FUCKING SEE. I just didn't want to admit I was squinting at everything.
 
GLASSES ARE GOOD.

All the cool people have worn glasses at one time or another.
 
Squinting is cool. All the cool people squint. Clint Eastwood, Jack Nicholson, JOHNNY NOSE...the list is endless.
 
Squinting is not cool. Squinting didn't help me to copy the info off the blackboard to complete my bird book in third grade. FUCK SQUINTING.
 
Glasses give you a socially acceptable something to fidget with when you are uncomfortable.

I just got contact lenses so I don't have to wear my nerdy glasses any more.

I had laser surgery last summer: it's like being born again. ;)

I got smaller cool glasses so I didn't have to wear my thick nerdy glasses any more.

I was thinking doing that but I'm too worried that the laser will slip and I'll end up blind or worse. Plus I need to get insurance that will cover the surgery since its like $2000 an eye.
 
Does any insurance cover that?

You forgot as a girl with glasses you can take them off then shake your hair, it will look totally sexy, and girls without glasses just cant do that.
 
I hate wearing glasses myself, but they can look really good on others. Maybe they're sexy because you can imagine flinging them off in a moment of passion. Or maybe it's just that they make the wearer look more intelligent and thus worthy of procreation. WHO KNOWS.

But wearing them is such a pain. They always get dirty and greasy and they steam up or get rain on them and you have no peripheral vision and they can fall off. Contacts might mean you have to touch your eye a bit, but they're so much better.
