My favourite kind is plain old fashioned. Just nutmeg, no icing.
I only eat them if I'm on a long road trip but when I eat em I love em.
 
what's your favourite?
 
I used to like the ones with jam in the center too when I was a kid.
 
Maple Creme Donut
Apple Cider Donut
Pumpkin Donut
Bavarian Creme Donut
 
But doughnuts/ donuts are not on the Canada Food Plan.

I bet if I was a cop I could eat them all day and no one would say anything!

I hardly ever get donuts :(

BUT I love the old fashioned buttermilk donuts, they are glazed, or chocolate dipped, GOOD STUFF.
 
ALL THE COLOURS OF THE RAINBOW.
 
I ate a lot of jelly donuts as a child in the 70s.
I ate a lot of Dunkin Munchkin donut holes in the 80s.
I ate a lot of simple glazed donuts off the coffee cart in the 90s.
As an adult, I prefer coffee rolls*. But I don't eat them (or any pastries) that often.

I'M TOO BUSY GORGING ON PASTA AND FRIED FOODS.



*Coffee rolls are like cinnamon rolls, only with a thin balanced coat of glaze all around, as opposed to the gobby white mounds on glaze on top.
 
If I'm going to eat a doughnut,
it will be a chocolate doughnut.
Chocolate cake doughnut.
Chocolate glazed doughnut.
Chocolate filled doughnut.
Chocolate cake doughnut, filled with chocolate, and glazed with chocolate.
Or, possibly, a chocolate eclair.
Otherwise, I will not have a donut of any kind.
