2016 Can Fuck Off

I don't know why I am feeling this one so deeply when this has literally been a year of celebrity deaths, I guess she is so ingrained into my childhood, that it is like loosing a part of it.

I wonder what this means for episode 8 and 9?
 
She'll probably get the Cushing treatment. But only if the family's cool with it, and she would've been cool with it . Maybe in the movie they'll just say she found a quiet corner of the galaxy to retire to. She fought a good fight, been through a lot of shit and deserved some peace. (Sounds fitting, poetic, and breaks the fourth wall a little. )

She seemed like such a sweet, down to earth lady. I know she had her issues (who doesnt?) But she seemed like she was happy to be a part of Star Wars, and had a affection for it, and the fans. She seemed a lot like Leia in real life. Tough, yet tender, with a graceful beauty even in her later years.

Yeah, fuck 2016.
 
I loved her on Twitter, she made all her tweets with emojis!

It wasn't looking good, but I hoped she'd pull through in time. So sad for her daughter and mother.
 
My mother's neighbor (and friend) passed away last night.
Cancer.
Please add this to the list of griefs and fucks and condolences!
 
Also sad, though we didn't all grow up getting to know her tough as nails personality, charm and wit.

This is true, thanks for that perspective. I found out about both at the same time almost and it was sort of weird.

I always thought "dying of a broken heart" was a melodramatic phrase, but it seems pretty apt. Can't imagine what it's like being in that family right now.
