I've more or less stopped watching TV

Big Dick McGee

If you don't know, now ya know
I am in the drudgery of middle age. Even though I'm 50, I still have young kids at home, so watching TV before they are asleep is pointless. I find myself with more and more stacked up on my DVR with no hope of watching it. The entire current seasons of Superman and Lois, as well as Batgirl. Multiple streaming shows like The Flight Attendant and all the Trek shows. I subscribe to nearly all the streaming services, but the only can't-miss shows for me are the Marvel and Star Wars shows on Disney+. And Ted Lasso and Better Call Saul (which I haven't watched yet).

Most nights, I spend a little time with Laker Girl after the kids are asleep, then read comics for an hour. Not a bad way to pass the time.

How much TV do you watch?

(Oh, sports or The Big Bang Theory are always on in the background, but I don't really count that).

I watch a fair amount, mostly on DVD or streaming.

Tonight I'll be watching ledgends of tomorrow and the last series of Brooklyn 99.

To be fair, Wacky, you live in a castle in a country where it rains 450 days a year, what else is there to do?

I watch TV after my game (Game of Thrones: Winter is Coming) resets for the day, usually between 8 and 10...then sleep.

Currently in the middle of season 6 of Gray's Anatomy and Moon Knight.

I don't have live TV, but I have streaming services. I feel I watch more shows now than I did before, mostly because I'm not out doing stuff anymore. Once the weather warms up I will be outdoors more.

Appointment TV: Picard, Drag Race, Jeopardy. The rest of the time the TV's just on in the background, and I flip around, or leave it on BUZZR for old game shows, or HGTV. Or a Doctor Who marathon on BBC America. Or marathons of any number of shows I have ripped to my media player...

I watch the local news, "Jeopardy!", reruns of old "Dr. Who" and reruns of "Sell This House."
