First two episodes pretty decent, bit of a bait and switch situation with the trailers and what we actually get though.

It was good they kept kid Leia a secret (AND JIMMY SMITS) as all the Alderaan stuff was a nice surprise. Ewan was really good and I liked how they did Ben's character. He should be really rusty at fighting and force shit and he was. I bet he doesn't ignite his lightsaber until like the end of the fifth episode. It's nice he has a Jawa friend.

I'm not sure about the Inquisitors though. I don't want to say they're kind of lame, but...the Grand Inquisitor is just there to be an asshole boss, then dies? (Except he can't be dead because of Rebels.) Reva shouts a lot and does pointless flips. Maybe she'll be better once we know why she hates Obi-Wan so much. And there better be a good reason she knows Anakin is Vader because that was meant to be a big secret! Felt like they could have easily caught that Jedi at the start (I guess they did eventually so it doesn't matter.)

Well was one of the little jedi at the start a black girl? Maybe Anakin was about to kill them all and she murdered the rest to save herself, and he saw some potential in her.

Honestly I'm a little fatigued on all these juggernaut franchises. My interest in genre media (sans gaming) is dropping off across the board. Anyway, self-indulgence aside, I thought it was fairly solid.

Has a child in the Star Wars Universe ever sounded like just - you know - a kid?

The Third Sister is a bit meh.

McGregor and Smits were both fantastic. The last few minutes of episode 2 made up for any shortcomings.

My hopes:

- Leia is shipped out of the series next episode.

- More Christensen (out of the tank).

- More Christensen and McGregor together.

I had a blast. Loved all the prequel stuff, and it certainly had that "star wars" feel to it.

I agree with Wacky on the Inquisitor BS. I really liked the rest of the sub plots otherwise. It'll be interesting to see how they evolve Reva "knowing" Anakin is Vader. Both my wife and I exchanged rolley eyes at that development.

Nice to have new Star Wars stories back in the mix.

The girl who says "we run" at the start was a black girl and probably going to be Reva (otherwise why show her.) I think she'll blame Obi-Wan for not saving her friends or something.

Well if she got trained by Vader he probably didn't paint Obi Wan in a good light.

Do you think when Obi Wan and Vader do meet Vader will say he knows about Luke, and tell him to give Luke his lightsaber?

Based purely on the films it always seemed to me that he knew about Luke but not Liea.

After all sending him to live in a place Anakin knew and keep his surname wasn't exactly well hidden.

I guess that is one of the things that bother me about Reva known Vader is Anakin, they travel to a planet that seems to have a few thousand people at most, you go so near a place where Anakins family lived, and you don't look into another kid called Skywalker?

I watched the 1st one. IT WAS REALLY GOOD. Princess Leia is very cute.

The moment where Vader learns about Luke was depicted in the (canon) Marvel comic, set between Episodes 4 and 5.
