Yeah, I dunno about anyone else, but I have about zero interest in this show. I will say that Holly Hunter is an interesting choice as lead, so I might give it a one and done sort of shot. Not that way.

Why isn't Tilly in this? Wasn't the original concept that it was a spinoff about Tilly teaching at the Academy? There was a Discovery season 4 episode where she took some cadets out on an adventure which I assumed was a backdoor pilot kind of thing, but I don't think any of the characters from that ep are in the trailer either.

I had a suspicion that Holly would be a bad fit for Trek. Apparently nobody dared give her direction or notes in terms of her character because OMG OSCAR WINNER WITH STRONG OPINIONS and so they let her just be "Southern pixie Holly" instead of a ballsy admiral.
