Things you love about Star Trek

Terry Matalas is an idiot and a hack, he's the perfect example of why "being a fan" of something doesn't mean someone understands a thing about it. His Star Trek show had all the depth of two feverish 11 year olds bashing the Playmates action figures of the TNG crew together while scribbling on them with crayons.
 
"Assignment: Earth" was on the other night. And it is such a fucking bananas episode. I know Gene hoped it would be a backdoor pilot for a Gary Seven series but man, Terri Garr as the secretary, the cat, who turns out to be a hot girl for a few seconds. Spock's hat selections. So much 60s zaniness.
