The Fighting Irish (10-14, 7-11 ACC) had five players score in double figures in the program's first win against a ranked team since a 67-66 victory over Wichita State in November 2017. They had dropped 28 such games in a row. The loss put the Seminoles (15-5, 11-4) bid for a second straight Atlantic Coast Conference title in jeopardy. No. 21 Virginia can clinch the championship with a victory at Louisville later Saturday.

The Cavaliers (17-6, 13-4 ACC) shot consistently well (52%) to lead throughout, though Louisville got within 41-38 with 13:47 remaining with a 6-0 run. Hauser answered with five consecutive points, and Virginia later added another 5-0 run on the way to a 13-point advantage the Cardinals (13-6, 8-5 ACC) couldn't dent.

Stanford jumps to No. 2 in women's AP Top 25 poll behind UConn
Buoyed by an impressive run to the Pac-12 Conference championship, Stanford jumped two spots to No. 2 in The Associated Press women's college basketball poll on Monday. North Carolina State stayed at No. 3 after edging Louisville for the Atlantic Coast Conference championship. Texas A&M and South Carolina rounded out the top five teams in the poll.
