Two-time All-ACC WR Josh Downs leaving North Carolina for NFL


Two-time All-ACC wide receiver Josh Downs is leaving North Carolina for the NFL, he told ESPN. Downs is the No. 4-rated wide receiver in the upcoming draft, according to ESPN NFL draft analyst Todd McShay, making him one of the top receiving prospects available for NFL teams. Downs had back-to-back seasons of more than 1,000 yards receiving for the Tar Heels and caught 22 career touchdown passes. In just three seasons at UNC, he rose to No. 4 on the school's all-time receiving list (2,483) and No. 2 in touchdown catches. He will not play in the San Diego County Credit Union Holiday Bowl against Oregon.

Notre Dame DE Isaiah Foskey to enter NFL draft, skip bowl
Foskey recorded 11 sacks in each of his final two seasons at Notre Dame, the third-highest total in team history. Foskey, a junior, is rated by ESPN's Mel Kiper Jr. as the No. 5 draft-eligible outside linebacker prospect.

Duggan won two national quarterback awards, the Davey O'Brien and Johnny Unitas Golden Arm, while earning second-team Associated Press All-America honors and being named Big 12 Offensive Player of the Year.

In his first season starting as a sophomore, Young. who is 6-foot and 195 pounds, threw for 47 touchdowns and had seven interceptions. He won the Heisman Trophy. - Anderson led the SEC in sacks (10) and tackles for loss (19.5) this season. He also led the nation in pressures (50).

Clemson DL Bryan Bresee following 'dream,' to enter NFL draft


Clemson defensive lineman Bryan Bresee is heading to the NFL. The 6-foot-5, 305-pound third-year starter said Monday on social media he was entering the draft, saying it was his lifelong dream to play in the NFL. Bresee was ranked the No. 1 college prospect three years ago and was named the Atlantic Coast Conference defensive rookie of the year after 2020. His second season was cut short after he tore his ACL four games in and missed the rest of 2021. In ESPN's Mel Kiper's list of top NFL prospects, Bresee is ranked No. 12.

Ringo will long be remembered for a pick-six interception that sealed Georgia's first national title in 41 seasons. Jones, a sophomore started 15 times at left tackle for the Bulldogs in 2022, allowing zero sacks and only six pressures while being named to the all-SEC team. Washington, who is the No. 3 tight end in the draft according to McShay, is a massive tight end (6-foot-7, 270 pounds).
