QB recruit Jaden Rashada changes commitment to Florida
Jaden Rashada, ESPN's No. 7-rated quarterback in the 2023 class, announced on social media that he is backing out of his commitment to Miami and picking the Gators instead. Rashada initially had committed to Miami in June, choosing the Hurricanes over Florida, LSU, Mississippi and Texas A&M. At the time, it was a big get for first-year Hurricanes coach Mario Cristobal. But now, Miami's struggles on the field -- the Hurricanes are 4-5 overall and 2-3 in the ACC -- are compounded with a big recruiting loss off it.
Georgia No. 1, as top 5 unchanged; Oregon, UCLA take Pac-12 hits
No. 1 Georgia led an unchanged top five in The Associated Press college football poll Sunday, while the rest of the Top 25 was shuffled after eight ranked teams lost -- including two big upsets in the Pac-12.

Greene is a 5-foot-10, 195-pound defender from Richmond, Virginia. He played in seven games with two starts this season, making eight tackles with an interception in a win over Louisiana Tech in September.
Virginia cancels home finale after shooting that killed 3 football players
Instead of Saturday's game, a memorial service for the three players killed will be held at 3:30 p.m. at John Paul Jones Arena, university president Jim Ryan announced Wednesday night. It will be open to the public and livestreamed.
ACC to honor Virginia shooting victims with helmet decals
Included among the initiatives are special helmet decals designed by the conference office. A moment of silence will be observed at all ACC home football games this weekend, and each home team will also have field signage with a "UVA Strong" graphic produced by the league office.
ACC Network to Carry Virginia Memorial Service Live Saturday, Nov. 19 at 3:30 p.m. ET
ACC Network (ACCN) will carry the memorial service honoring the lives of Virginia football players Devin Chandler, Lavel Davis Jr. and D’Sean Perry, as well as the two students injured in the shooting, Mike Hollins and Marlee Morgan, live on Saturday, Nov. 19 beginning at 3:30 p.m. ET.

With the Chandler, Davis and Perry families sitting in the front row, and the entire football team in the rows behind them, the memorial was an opportunity not only for remembrances about all three, but in the words of university president Jim Ryan, "to start the healing of our beloved university."
USC makes return to top 5; Vols flop to No. 9 after blowout
The fifth-ranked Trojans moved up two spots after a thrilling victory over rival UCLA. The last time USC was ranked in the top five was September 2017. Tennessee dropped four spots. Georgia set a school record with its 10th appearance at No. 1 this season.

Entire Virginia team to be at funerals of 3 teammates
The entire Virginia football team will attend the funeral service for D'Sean Perry on Saturday in Miami, the first of three funerals for their deceased teammates.The team will also be at the memorial service for Devin Chandler on Sunday in Virginia Beach, Virginia, and the celebration of life service for Lavel Davis J. on Wednesday in North Charleston, South Carolina. Perry, Chandler and Davis were shot and killed on a charter bus Nov. 13 after returning home from a class trip. Running back Mike Hollins and a fifth student, Marlee Morgan, were also shot, but survived. Virginia was scheduled to end its season at rival Virginia Tech on Saturday, but the game was canceled earlier in the week because players wanted to attend the funerals of their teammates. Because of the tragedy, Virginia opted not to play its final two games of the season.
