Ahsoka

I liked it as someone who has watched Rebels but I wonder if it works on its own?

Hmmmm, not really. It proceeds as if I'm already invested in these characters. They do a little bit here and there to try and get you up to speed, but it was more how certain scenes were presented as having weight and I'm like "okay?"

I didn't not like it, but it's obvious someone who watched Rebels would've got a lot more out of it.

I did try Rebels but checked out halfway thru the first season.

I did watch the one with Vader / Ahsoka.

Anyhoo I'm gonna watch a quick recap vid on YT before the 2nd episode.

The Mandalorion has already shown there's loads of ex-Imperials around (and some of them organised and working together.)

I watched Rebels so I was able to follow along the first two episodes fairly well. I haven't watched The Mandalorian yet. I hope there isn't a reference to that show I missed. I heard there might be a KOTOR videogame cameo too that I missed because I never played it.

I don't know what is going on but I like the space cat and the space cat lady. I HOPE SHE DOESN'T DIE.

I'll watch the 2nd one tomorrow.

I watched the second episode. Can we just stay on Ray Stevenson and his apprentice's POV? I find them far more interesting.

The good gu ... er, gals - they're a little boring and flat. I'm not a stranger to Ahsoka (have watched all of Clone Wars), but I'm not particularly enthralled by this live-action version. Out of the main characters, I'd say Sabine has the most promise. Green General Lady is particularly flat - I don't know if that's how she came across in Rebels.

Does it rip anyone else that we know where this all ends up? As the scene with the bad guys unlocking the map planet-side unfolded, I thought to myself how cool it might be if everything ahead of this was an open canvas. No Rey, whiny emo Solo, Palpatine somehow returned and so on locked into the fabric of the future.

Or the prequels?

Save Anakin from killing Mace Windy, stop him becoming Vader, get all the Jedi to take on Palpatine before order 66.

Watch Anakin and Padme bring up Luke and Liea.

I've seen fan made Star Wars What If? Reels and Tiktoks about that and other Star Wars stuff.

It's a bit better, but only by ripping off a new hopes training and tie fighter scenes.

It was only missing the don't get cocky line.
