Ahsoka

Decent enough episode, did drag on a bit.

It's pretty, I'll give it that. Would love to see SNW's VFX hit that level of fidelity.

I hope next episode they finally introduce a character with a pulse.

This is a very odd show.

Still at least they have original stories like a master training an apprentice on a ship with a helmet that restricts vision while on the way to a giant circular structure, before engaging with some fighters and shouting I got one.

The action was good and the space whales.

So Ahsoka tried to teach Sabine five years ago or whatever, but she never got to the "covering the eyes reach out with your feelings" thing? Isn't that like day one of Jedi School? What did she teach her before?

Jacen just being a human child with green hair is still silly.

I think there's something wrong with my Disney+ because it doesn't want to play the full episode, it just ends abruptly after Baylan tells his troops to go find them in the forest.

I think that's how it ends.

I LIKE THE STAR WHALES.

We all thought Ahsoka and Sabine were free, but it turns out troops can enter the forest, it was a huge twist.

Yeah that's been my problem with the New Republic being such ineffectual iditos: Mothma is the Chancellor (okay we didn't know that before but we knew she and Leia would have been invovled in creating it.) Mothma witnessed the fall of the Old Republic from the inside and was a key figure in the Rebellion. Mothma wouldn't be an inffectual idiot! I guess she just had to give jobs to lots of dumb senators for political reasons but eeeeeeh.

Maybe the Mon Calamari are really into States Rights or something, and they have the ships.

There were some good moments this week, especially in the last few minutes.

A YT vid popped up in my feed (haven't watched) declaring it the best TV episode of Star Wars yet.

Okay then. Well, that certainly raises my expectations.

I wouldn't go that far, it's no Andor.

I wouldn't go that far either (just saw it).

Please tell me they haven't CGI-ed the face at the end. Please.

It looks like a reshaded lift from a scene in episode 3

Best episode of the series thus far.

Ray Stevenson was really good as Baylan this episode and it's very sad that he died after filming.
Also very sad to learn that Hayden Christensen died too and had to be replaced by a deepfake.

This show needs more robot fist fights.

Indeed.

Live action Star Wars needs to be more like this:
