Alphas season two

I THOUGHT THIS WAS A GOOD EPISODE. It was good seeing Stanton do more than just give a one minute speech at the end. It was nice that Rachel and Nina are friends again. Gary got punched.

I was wondering why you all were talking about eps I hadn't seen... come to find out the bastards at Hulu haven't shown the last three episodes yet. Grrr..

Just watched the llast episode (7) and loved it! Really good. I can never get how much more believable this is than any other mutant superpower shows or movies. Even the Alphas headquarters looks boringly realistic, rather than being at the top of a giant CGI skyscraper, or in a quirky underground lab (Fringe, Torchwood).

Could Stanton Parish be working with Warlow??!

I don't know how it's doing in the ratings... whatever 0.5 means!

Loved last night's episode. Kat is cool. I like Danny and Hicks together!

GOOD EPISODE.

I liked that Kat actually got something to do other than hang around the office. The Rosen/Dani stuff was good. But now he's going to send her to spy on Stanton Pieface and she's going to end up dead because AHAB MUST HAVE HIS WHITE WHALE.

"You're squeezing my six."

The Rachel/Blonde Guy plot was the worst part though. I STILL THINK there might be something more to it than just "Rachel getting laid" since they spend so much time on it...

She looked nice when she was helping Cameron feel up his son.

ANOTHER THING: at the start when Nathan was making Rosen breakfast, I thought they'd just woken from spending the night together (having sex.)

Dani's upgraded, since her previous on screen feller was Rush in SGU (old enough to be her dad, apparently!).

It was an okay episode... I liked the stuff with Rosen, which was really well acted.

I'm not so sure about the main story. I agree it was nice to see Kat getting something to do, but I didn't really buy that one pill could give you Alpha abilities so powerful that they'd prevent you from dying after falling from a building. Yeah yeah, I know extraordinary powers are what the show's all about, but this was just pushing it a bit too far for me. (It was pretty cool, though!)

I'm afraid they're getting a little too Heroes with the special powers. I like that all the powers have flaws, and that they're not super-duper... but being able to jump off a building and not get hurt is a little too super-duper. And that one guy who skittered across the ceiling that time, that made me cringe a little. I'm worried that Stanton's bug zapper will ruin the show.

Well they did mention the DIRE SIDE effects of the drug that it casuses people to DIE except apparently not drug dealer guy or Kat herself.

GREAT EPISODE.

It was sad when Nina was pushing Dani to stay alive. Guess that doesn't work!

Maybe Dualla can help Hicks with his grief...

It was more actiony than previous episodes, though they still obviously have a much lower budget than shows on proper networks.

"Lorenzo, we won!"
