^ I was wondering about that too...Fuddlemiff! Explain!!
watched the womenz trampoline - Jesus! They're like 18 feet in the air! The Russian was freaking unbelievable - but her landing lost her a medal. sucks.
Horse peeps will know about Ian Miller (who I met years ago at the Royal Winter Fair in Toronto), who I think is the oldest Olympian there, and had been in many Olympics and never won anything in the equestrian event.
He's a true gentleman, very kind and modest in RL, and FINALLY won a medal (Silver). he said an angel was riding with him that day - his wife Lyn (always his staunchest supporter) - died in March.
I saw some of the diving while at the KJT hall, then when I got home later that night caught the tail end of men's gymnastics and that American woman blow her chance in a race.
Watched Usain Bolt's amazing 200m win and then a women's race (200m maybe?) with a British bronze medal, then bloke's volleyball (Brazil thrashed China) and some swimming. The Chinese swimmers were really good, even though they looked like little boys.
