I would have added pepper too. If I'm not using blue cheese. Even fancy dongs need something added to give it some flavor.

I usually put some vinegariette (spelling?) on cold cucumbers. They don't need to be drenched in stuff, although I found a recipe for a creamy cucumber salad. I like creamy.
