I'm guessing it's not so much about rep as it is about access. DW is most likely a mod or A-51 observer. S/he does not wish to lose that. Could an unedited A51 release be in the offing? OMG!

If DW is truly disgruntled, and does have access to the inner circle, it would be a good way to bring some credibility to the statements of disgruntlement.

Adding to what gul said, I'll say yes it's a BBS, one I like. I'm not saying who I am because after this drama is over, I'll be among the people who look petty for stirring shit, and I'd rather enjoy the board without being smeared as some of you are in addition to stupid mod decisions. The problem is that policy isn't affected by popular sentiment no matter how idiotic it is.

Personally, I can respect the inner circle access theory, not so much the smeared reputation angle. It hurts so much being called a troll by listkeeper and cassandra :sob:

Popular sentiment isn't the best way to dictate policy either. Exisle is a good example of this.
