Are we also going to do a Sci-Fi/Fantasy Top 100 for the male of the species?

Anything that relies on youtube is going to be a no go area while I am at work, firewall banned.

Or we could do Top 100 Video Game Dude/Female characters but probably I would be the only one posting in it. And then probably my list would only be 1 and it would be Halo and Masterchief. So yeah.

I can't devote my full geek attention to all this listmaking now that Big Brother is starting. But I will contribute as I can.
 
Well there's no reason we can't have more than one going at once. IF YOU HAVE A GOOD IDEA FOR ONE, POST IT MAYBE.
 
When the lists are sorted out, please add my entry for Data. He has a positronic brain, can do anything, is very life like and anatomically correct as well as skilled, and he has an off button.


Yes. I love him. When he made himself a daughter and she died and he almost cried, I did too. And, then he carried around Natasha Yar's holo statue because he loved her. Data was awesome. *Sigh* Plus, he could kick butt and create stuff to kick butt.
 
Top 100 aliens and robots?

(I think we've got enough lists going right now, but would be interested in everyone's favourite/most creative aliens and robots at some point)
 
Trouble is you could fill 100 aliens with star wars characters alone, we might need seperate threads for SW and non SW.
 
Well it wouldn't be "which 100 aliens can we think of before the slots are filled", it'd be "which were the best alien/robot characters/most groundbreaking concepts". So it doesn't matter if there are loads of aliens in Star Wars, because only a minority were given lines or any proper description in the movies. [/Tomtrek]
 
Maybe we can do a Top 100 Aliens (Sci-fi) and Top 100 Aliens (Non sci-fi). Stuff like Star Wars and American Dad goes in the second list.
 
If we only have robots with lines it eliminates R2, Hewie, Dewie and Louie, and the NuBSG centurians.

Why couldnt the centurians talk anyway?
