I pulled up a couple openings for "Babylon 5" and I really enjoyed the show and the credits work in context, but they just aren't that...OH!

An obvious choice, but it's a really strong contender for the best opening ever so obviously has to be posted. Not only are the music and visuals great but it's also educational as it gives viewers a map of the show's world so they can think "oh that's where that is in relationn to that!" (Obviously as a BOOK READER I already know it all but it's helpful for the non-readers!) And there's that fun thing where you recognise the names of the actors and know which characters are going to be in the episode.

The Expanse - decent music, but it’s the visuals that impress me. Charting the colonisation of our solar system, including updated developments throughout the course of the series. Unfortunately they don’t often use the full length titles in the episodes.
