Judging from the promo for next week, Lawless won't be back till the week after. But they discover some weird ship/station.
I really liked this week's ep. After last week's slow episode, it was good to see the pace pick up again. The scene where Six was executed was really quite emotional. I seriously think Tricia Helfer's the best actress in the series. I suppose Gaeta will lose his leg next week. Anders was aiming for the floor, but he missed. Butterfingers! lol, irony.
Unintentionally comedic moment of the week: The shot at the beginning when it cuts to bald Roslin. I know she had a wig on last week, but the baldness caught me off guard and I LOLed.
Geeky reference of the week: I noticed the Rising Star is in the fleet. It was a beautiful ship in the original series.
There will probably be a bunch of final 4 secret meetings in the next episode.. since Anders was there when they sort of translated what the Hybrid said. Tory will have to go on a killing spree!
After someone pointed out that the promo shows the gang visiting the resurrection hub, it DOES look like D'anna will be back next week, but probably only at the end.
Well the effects of the smashed up basestar were really quite impressive.
Good episode, made it more apparent that they were really holding back last week. Everything that happened in this week's teaser should have happened last week and Nana Visitor's character should have been introduced then to make her death more meaningful. Though it was still quite effective and some good acting from her and Mary McDonnell (yes I know you hate her Fuddletrek.)
That red headed girl's death was kind of funny how she got up and said "okay" then died. Probably wasn't supposed to be funny. Hot Six on Six kiss. The bit with Anders comforting the dying Eight was really good. Hope Gaeta doesn't die.
If Geeta looses his leg, they should make him wear a parrot on his shoulder.
Nana looked rough, but I guess she was meant to.
Shame she didnt get any scenes with Baltar, considering how much people say he looks like Bashire, still considering they broke up, maybe she wanted it that way.
I can Gaeta killing himself next week or getting Helo to do it if the leg needs to come off, to be honest. They seem to be killing off all the recurring characters.
Well he hasn't had a very good life since the cylon attack.
- Entire family killed (I'm guessing since he's never mentioned a family.)
- Catches Tori, Tigt etc trying to rig the election and tells Adama. Is therefore directly responsible for Baltar becoming president and the disastrous New Caprica settlement.
- Hero worships Baltar then sees him for what he really is during the New Caprica occupation. Powerless to stop Baltar signing an execution order for 200 people.
- Passes on information to the resistance at great personal risk, but is then accused of being a collaborator by Tigh and Starbuck, has the shit beat out of him several times, is ready to die in the airlock before Tyrol realises he was on their side.
- Leg fucked up!
- No sex with Baltar
Baltar probably doesn't think Gaeta is important enough to worry about, but it would be nice if he apologized. It would make him seem more sincere with his new religion.
I've been noticing those stock shots a lot too. The other one they use a lot is the one of Galactica above with the two Tauranian Travelers flying over. Nice to see the Rising Star in the fleet now though.
